Introduction
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the ChickStarter mobile app and website. This is a test version of the app distributed through TestFlight, and many features—such as payments, equity allocation, and wallet systems—are demo-only and not active. By using the app, you agree to follow these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.
Test Version / Beta Disclaimer
This is an early-stage, pre-release version of the ChickStarter app.
Features may not work as intended.
Data may reset or behave unpredictably.
You should NOT expect full functionality, accuracy, or reliability.
The purpose of this build is testing, feedback, and UX validation only.
Eligibility
To use ChickStarter, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Use the app only for testing or feedback purposes
Not misuse or attempt to reverse engineer the app
Founders uploading content must ensure their content is owned by them and does not violate any laws.
No Real Investments or Financial Transactions
4.1 No Real Money
This version of ChickStarter does not accept real money, process real payments, or issue real investment certificates. All “payments,” “credits,” and “investments” inside the app are fake/demo simulations.
4.2 No Equity or Legal Ownership
Any equity shown in the app is fictional, not legally binding, and only exists for testing the user flow.
4.3 No Wallet or Payout System
There is: No real wallet No balance storage No withdrawal No deposit No payment processing Future versions may integrate providers like Stripe or Razorpay, but they are not active in this build.
User Content & Founder Uploads
Founders may upload videos, descriptions, and startup details for testing. You agree that:
You own the content you upload
Content does not violate copyright or trademark laws
ChickStarter may display content inside the app for testing purposes
We may remove or suspend content at our discretion.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Upload harmful, misleading, or illegal content
Spam, harass, or engage in abusive behavior
Attempt to hack, copy, or reverse engineer the app
Create fraudulent or duplicate accounts
Use this app for real financial solicitation
Violation may result in removal from the TestFlight program.
Intellectual Property
The ChickStarter app, logo, name, design elements, and all related branding are the property of Persist Ventures. Users retain ownership of the content they upload but grant ChickStarter permission to use it inside the app for testing, mockups, and feature demos.
No Guarantees or Warranties
Since this is a TestFlight build:
Features may break or be unfinished
Data may reset
Performance may vary
Bugs or crashes may occur
The app may be removed or changed at any time
The app is provided “as-is” with no guarantees.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law: ChickStarter and Persist Ventures are not responsible for any loss, damage, or data issues arising from use of this test app. Because no real money or investments are involved, ChickStarter has no financial liability of any kind.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or testing access at any time for:
Violating these Terms
Misuse of the app
Abusive behavior
Security concerns
You may stop using the app anytime.
Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically as the app evolves. New versions will be published inside the app or TestFlight notes.
